As signmakers, we are often tasked with solving complex sign issues. In this case, our client, Lou’s Electric had an existing two pole steel sign frame, that was considered non-conforming. We were faced with using the existing sign posts, without moving them, with the need to create a dimensional, natural wood sign system with room for multiple tenant panels. Typestries designed a modern wooden frame, constructed from ipe slats, cross member supports, and digitally printed aluminum composite sign panels. The resulting pylon sign is a real visual treat, and a terrific eye-catcher for our clients businesses.
